Head of Iraqi Turkmen Front requested formation of an international investigation committee to reveal the sides that stand behind targeting Turkmen…he mentioned that Iraqi Turkmen particularly in Kirkuk did not celebrate the blessed Aladha Eid due to security deterioration and their continuous targeting.

Arshad Alsalihi, a member of Iraqi Parliament, said in a special meeting: we are within a silence of Iraqi government and parliament. We can just ask them clearly, Why Iraqi Turkmen are targeted, killed and abducted?

Unfortunately the Iraqi society began to divide into Shia, Sunni and Kurds, but Turkmen are still holding to their Iraqism and their homeland.

He clarified that we find the silence of Iraqi government and disagreements among the facts investigation committee which included Kirkuk deputies to present a common report within the parliament ignorance that made us suspect even more that there is a conspiracy targeting Turkmen. Therefore we are convinced to send an international investigation committee to have a look at the processes of abducting and killing of Turkmen and targeting their scientific, medical and business men symbols…he clarified that we also requested a tribal support to back up our attitudes during our last visits to a number of tribes especially in Hilla, as a result of the disgraceful silence…he added we consider our targeting in Iraq is a first degree.

Head of Turmen Front clarified we appreciate our Turkmen people attitudes all over our areas in Talaafar, Kirkuk and Toz and we ask them for more patience, we promise that a day will come when they celebrate their freedom and having their rights…as security deterioration forced us to cancel celebrations and ceremonies of the Eid.

He emphasized that Turkmen have fears from American withdrawal especially from the areas where are big problems that should not be used by political forces and parties in Kirkuk. If Iraqi government reaches an agreement with them, there will be a disaster.
